Ditopic receptor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003352
A molecule or supramolecular assembly that possesses two distinct binding sites capable of simultaneously interacting with two different guest molecules or two parts of a single guest. These receptors are designed to achieve specific recognition and binding events. They are often employed in host-guest chemistry and molecular sensing.
