Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003353

The physiological process of increased urine production by the kidneys, resulting in the excretion of excess water and solutes from the body. This process is regulated by hormones such as antidiuretic hormone and aldosterone, which influence water and electrolyte reabsorption.
