Youden plot
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012786
A graphical method for analyzing results from interlaboratory comparisons, where two similar but distinct materials are sent to participating laboratories for analysis. Each laboratory's results for the two materials are plotted as a single point (x, y), with the x-axis representing material A and the y-axis representing material B. The pattern of points reveals systematic errors, which cause points to fall along a 45-degree line, and random errors, which cause scatter around this line.
