Beerwort

The sugary liquid extracted from malted grains during the mashing process, which serves as the fermentable base for brewing beer. This unfermented liquid contains sugars, amino acids, and other nutrients that yeast will consume to produce alcohol and carbon dioxide. After boiling with hops, the beerwort is cooled and transferred to a fermenter.
