Field emission display

A type of flat panel display technology that uses an array of microscopic electron emitters to excite phosphors and produce an image. Each pixel contains multiple tiny electron sources, typically carbon nanotubes or molybdenum tips, which emit electrons when a voltage is applied. This technology offers high brightness and contrast, with individual pixels being directly addressed.
