Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006174
A group of three distinct color phosphors (red, green, and blue) arranged in a specific pattern on the screen of a cathode ray tube (CRT) display. Each triad corresponds to a single pixel, and varying the intensity of the electron beams striking these phosphors creates a full spectrum of colors. This arrangement was standard in older color televisions and computer monitors.
