NTC

Negative Temperature Coefficient, describing a material or component whose electrical resistance decreases as its temperature increases. Thermistors with NTC characteristics are widely used as temperature sensors and inrush current limiters in electronic circuits. Their resistance can change by several orders of magnitude over a practical temperature range.
