A return of a moulding at an internal angle in masonry, where a moulding that runs along one wall face turns the corner and continues along the adjoining face. It occurs at reentrant corners, for example where two walls meet or where a projecting block meets the wall behind it. The word is French, from reprendre, to take up again.
