An administrator appointed by a court to complete the administration of a deceased person's estate when an executor named in a will dies, resigns, or is removed before fully executing the will's provisions. This individual carries out the terms of the will, collecting assets, paying debts, and distributing property according to the decedent's wishes. The appointment occurs when no successor executor is named or available.
