Clearly erroneous

A standard of review applied by appellate courts to findings of fact made by lower courts or administrative agencies. A finding is considered clearly erroneous if, despite some evidence to support it, the reviewing court is left with a definite and firm conviction that a mistake has been committed. This standard requires a high degree of certainty that an error occurred.
