Confrontation

The act of bringing an accused person face-to-face with their accuser or witnesses in a legal proceeding. This process allows the accused to hear the testimony against them and to cross-examine the witnesses. It is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
