Term · Law · MLC-T-LAW-001597
A grave breach of the Geneva Conventions and a war crime under the Rome Statute: large-scale destruction or seizure of protected property that military necessity does not justify and that is carried out unlawfully and wantonly. The protected property includes civilian property in occupied territory and medical facilities.
