Emblements

The annual crops produced by a tenant's labor, such as corn, wheat, or vegetables. These crops are considered personal property rather than part of the real estate, even if still growing. A tenant who cultivated the land is generally entitled to harvest emblements after the tenancy ends, provided the termination was not due to the tenant's own fault.
