Impotence

The physical inability of a person to engage in sexual intercourse. In family law, this condition historically served as a ground for annulment of a marriage if it existed at the time of marriage and was incurable. Modern family law statutes have largely replaced or supplemented this ground with other provisions for annulment or divorce.
