Tenants in common

Two or more individuals who co-own property, each holding an undivided, but not necessarily equal, interest in the entire estate. Each tenant in common has the right to possess the whole property, but their ownership share can be transferred or inherited independently. There is no right of survivorship among tenants in common, meaning a deceased owner's share passes to their heirs.
