Absorptivity

The ability of a material to absorb electromagnetic radiation, often referring to the fraction of incident radiation absorbed at a specific wavelength. It is a material property that can vary with wavelength, temperature, and other factors. For a perfect black body, the absorptivity is 1 at all wavelengths.
