All-sky photometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003443
An instrument designed to measure the radiance of the entire sky dome, providing data on atmospheric aerosols and clouds. It uses a fisheye lens to capture a hemispheric view and a detector to measure light intensity at specific wavelengths. These measurements are used to retrieve aerosol optical depth and cloud properties.
