Anemometer level

The standard height above the ground at which an anemometer is installed to measure wind speed for meteorological observations. This height is typically 10 meters (33 feet) in open terrain, as specified by the World Meteorological Organization. Measurements taken at this level are used for synoptic reports and climate studies.
