Gill anemometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005969
A type of propeller anemometer designed to measure wind speed and direction, particularly in turbulent or complex flow environments. It features lightweight, fast-response propellers and often includes multiple propellers oriented in different axes to capture three-dimensional wind components. These instruments are frequently used in micrometeorological studies and atmospheric research towers.
