Dines anemometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005023
A type of pressure-tube anemometer designed to measure wind speed, consisting of a pitot tube and a static tube. The difference in pressure between the two tubes, caused by the wind, is measured and converted into wind speed. This instrument provides accurate readings and is less susceptible to icing than cup anemometers.
