Dines radiometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010477
An instrument designed to measure the intensity of solar radiation, particularly the direct component of sunlight. It typically consists of a blackened surface exposed to the sun and a reference surface, with the temperature difference between them indicating the radiation intensity. This device provides data for understanding the Earth's energy budget and atmospheric heating.
