Carbonyl sulfide

A colorless, flammable gas composed of one carbon atom, one oxygen atom, and one sulfur atom. It is the most abundant sulfur-containing gas in the atmosphere, with both natural and anthropogenic sources. Carbonyl sulfide is a precursor to stratospheric sulfate aerosols, which can influence Earth's radiative balance.
