Chezy equation
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010427
A hydraulic formula used to calculate the mean velocity of steady, uniform flow in open channels. It relates the flow velocity to the hydraulic radius, the slope of the channel bed, and a dimensionless coefficient. This equation is applied in hydrology and fluid dynamics to analyze river flow and drainage systems.
