Eulerian equations
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005480
A set of mathematical equations that describe the motion of a fluid from an Eulerian perspective, focusing on changes in fluid properties at fixed points in space. In meteorology, these equations form the basis of numerical weather prediction models, governing the conservation of mass, momentum, and energy for atmospheric flow. They are expressed in terms of partial derivatives with respect to space and time.
