Fengyun 2

A series of geostationary meteorological satellites operated by the China Meteorological Administration. These satellites provide continuous monitoring of weather systems over Asia and the Western Pacific, delivering visible and infrared imagery, as well as atmospheric sounding data. They are primarily used for weather forecasting, disaster monitoring, and climate research within the region.
