Fisher & Porter rain gauge

A type of recording rain gauge that uses a weighing mechanism to continuously measure the accumulation of precipitation. It consists of a collection bucket placed on a spring-loaded platform, with changes in weight recorded mechanically or electronically. This instrument provides a continuous record of precipitation intensity and total accumulation over time.
