Ground flux
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006084
The rate of energy or mass transfer across the interface between the Earth's surface and the atmosphere. This includes fluxes of sensible heat, latent heat (evaporation/condensation), and momentum, which are fundamental components of the surface energy balance. Ground flux measurements are often made using eddy covariance systems or Bowen ratio techniques.
