Indicated airspeed

The speed of an aircraft as shown on its airspeed indicator, directly reflecting the dynamic pressure measured by the pitot-static system. It is uncorrected for instrument errors, position errors, or variations in air density. Indicated airspeed is a primary reference for aircraft control during takeoff, landing, and maneuvering.
