Inertio-gravity wave

A type of atmospheric or oceanic wave influenced by both the Coriolis force and buoyancy forces, which act to restore displaced fluid parcels. These waves are characterized by frequencies between the Coriolis frequency and the Brunt-Väisälä frequency. They are often generated by imbalances in atmospheric flow or by convection.
