Isothermal atmosphere

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006723

A theoretical atmospheric model where the temperature is assumed to be constant with height. While not perfectly representative of the real atmosphere, this simplified model is useful for understanding basic atmospheric properties and deriving fundamental equations. It provides a baseline for comparing more complex atmospheric structures.
