Jordan sunshine recorder

A type of instrument used to record the duration of bright sunshine during a day. It consists of a cylindrical camera with a small aperture, through which sunlight enters and burns a trace on a chemically treated paper strip. The length of the burn mark indicates the hours of sunshine, providing a continuous record of solar radiation.
