Marigram

A continuous graphical record of sea level fluctuations over time, typically produced by a tide gauge. It displays the rise and fall of tides, as well as any superimposed variations due to meteorological effects or tsunamis. Marigrams are used for tidal analysis, forecasting, and studying coastal oceanography.
