Mountain wind

A downslope wind that develops on mountain slopes during the night. It is a component of a mountain-valley circulation system, caused by the cooling of air adjacent to the sloped terrain through longwave radiation loss. This cooler, denser air then flows downhill under the influence of gravity, converging in the valley below.
