Narrowband radiation
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007473
Electromagnetic radiation that occupies a relatively small range of frequencies or wavelengths within the electromagnetic spectrum. This type of radiation is characterized by a distinct, limited spectral width. Many atmospheric remote sensing instruments are designed to detect narrowband radiation to isolate specific atmospheric constituents or processes.
