Orographic isobar

A line of constant atmospheric pressure that is influenced by the presence of elevated terrain. Unlike isobars on a constant-height surface, orographic isobars conform to the topography, reflecting how pressure varies along mountain slopes. These lines are used in specialized meteorological analyses for mountainous regions.
