Polar glacier

A type of glacier found in extremely cold regions where the ice temperature remains below the pressure melting point throughout its entire thickness, even during summer. These glaciers are typically frozen to their beds and exhibit very slow movement. They are common in Antarctica and the interior of Greenland.
