Pyrheliometric scale
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008222
A historical standard for the measurement of solar radiation, established to provide a consistent reference for pyrheliometer readings. Several such scales have been developed over time, with the International Pyrheliometric Scale of 1956 being a notable example. These scales aim to standardize the calibration of instruments measuring direct solar irradiance.
