Reduced pressure

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008467

The atmospheric pressure at a given station, adjusted to a standard reference level, typically mean sea level. This adjustment removes the influence of station elevation, allowing for a more accurate comparison of pressure values across different geographical locations. The reduction process involves applying a correction based on the temperature and elevation of the station.
