Similarity relationship

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-008883

A mathematical expression that describes the scaling behavior between different physical quantities in fluid flow, particularly in the atmospheric boundary layer. These relationships are derived from dimensional analysis and allow for the prediction of atmospheric variables based on a few key measurements. They are often used in Monin-Obukhov similarity theory.
