Spherical albedo
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009128
The fraction of incident solar radiation that is reflected by a celestial body, integrated over all wavelengths and directions. This value represents the overall reflectivity of a planet or moon to sunlight. Earth's spherical albedo is approximately 0.3, meaning 30% of incoming solar radiation is reflected back to space.
