Storage coefficient
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009274
A dimensionless hydrological parameter representing the volume of water released from or taken into storage per unit surface area of an aquifer per unit change in hydraulic head. It quantifies the amount of water an unconfined aquifer can yield or absorb. For confined aquifers, a similar term, storativity, is used.
