T-S relation
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-010823
The relationship between temperature and salinity in a body of water, particularly in the ocean. This relationship is often depicted on a T-S diagram, which plots temperature against salinity to characterize water masses. The T-S relation is a fundamental property used by oceanographers to identify, trace, and understand the mixing and movement of different water parcels.
