Van der Waal's equation

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009943

A modified equation of state for real gases that accounts for the finite size of gas molecules and the attractive forces between them, unlike the ideal gas law. It introduces two empirical constants, 'a' for intermolecular attraction and 'b' for molecular volume. This equation provides a more accurate description of gas behavior, especially at high pressures and low temperatures.
