Air drill
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000082
A drilling method that uses compressed air or another gas as the circulating medium to remove cuttings from the wellbore. This technique is employed in formations where water-based or oil-based drilling fluids would cause damage or where lost circulation is a concern. It results in faster penetration rates and minimizes formation damage in certain rock types.
