Azimuthal laterolog
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004230
A resistivity logging tool that measures the electrical resistance of rock formations in different directions around the borehole. This provides detailed information about the anisotropy of the formation and the presence of fractures or bedding planes. The measurements are typically presented as an image log, showing variations in resistivity around the wellbore.
