Borehole televiewer

A logging tool that uses acoustic or optical sensors to produce an oriented, high-resolution image of the borehole wall. It detects fractures, bedding planes, and other structural features, providing detailed geological information that complements conventional logs. Acoustic televiewers use ultrasonic pulses, while optical televiewers employ a camera in clear fluids.
