Bilinear flow
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000339
A flow regime observed in well test analysis, characteristic of hydraulically fractured wells, where fluid flows linearly from the reservoir into the fracture and then linearly along the fracture to the wellbore. This regime is identified by a one-quarter slope on a log-log plot of pressure change versus time. It indicates that the fracture is effectively communicating with the reservoir.
