Bottle test

A laboratory procedure used to evaluate the effectiveness of chemical additives, such as demulsifiers or scale inhibitors, on fluid samples collected from a well. Small volumes of the well fluid are treated with varying concentrations of chemicals in bottles to observe their impact on separation or precipitation. This test determines the optimal chemical type and dosage for field application.
