Briggs color cube

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000460

A color scheme that encodes three values at once as a single shade, used to display wireline log data. Each of three log curves drives one primary of red, green and blue, so the resulting color shows the relative values of all three curves at a depth. Unlike seismic attribute blending, the inputs here are well log curves.
