Three-phase separator
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003827
A pressure vessel designed to separate an incoming well stream into three distinct components: oil, gas, and water. It uses gravity, baffles, and sometimes coalescing plates to facilitate the density-driven separation of these immiscible fluids. These separators are common in production facilities to process the raw effluent from oil and gas wells.
